With a BREEAM outstanding certification for the Lely Campus in 2014 ConverseArchitects designed one of the most sustainable office buildings in Europe at that time.

ConverseArchitects designed the international headquarters of the Lely Group and two production halls. On the Lely Campus over 800 employees work on innovative and high-tech solutions for agriculture. The international headquarter has a usable area of approximately 10.500m2.

Lely is a number one player in the agriculture industry, inventing and producing o.a. forage solutions and dairy equipment. In the Netherlands the company enlarged its premises and production facilities by constructing a new factory and office space.

BREEAM NL

ConverseArchitects has been involved in the master planning from the start. Together with Urban Designer plein06 CA thoroughly studied sustainability and the integration of the new building into the strip-like allotted area in Maassluis. The design of the production hall was awarded with BREEAM NL Outstanding, making it the most sustainable industrial building on the European Continent. The high-tech architectural-designed office building scored BREEAM level Excellent. Consort Architects' BREEAM experts guided principal Lely during the certificate process.
