Together with Plein06 and Wilgenrijk, Converse Architects has designed and developed the concept for the urban area Buitengoed in Maassluis. Lichtval is the first neighborhood within the Buitengoed area that is currently being realised by Dura Vermeer. Lichtval consists of a small-scale apartment building and 18 typical Dutch terraced dike houses.
Lichtval is located beside a park and waterfront, spacious with a lot of green and water. Lichtval consists of a small-scale apartment building and 18 typical Dutch terraced dike houses.
The quiet entrances of the dike houses are located on the lower side of the dike and the large living room and kitchen on a higher level that has a beautiful panoramic view over the water. Thanks to the split level the windows in the living room go up to 3.60 meters high.
The appartment is located beside a park and waterfront, spacious with a lot of green and water. The luxury apartment building with ten apartments, four of which are lower-level houses with gardens, four apartments on the first floor and loft apartments in the roof, are located beside the park garden.
Converse believes architects play an important role, not only in the design, but also in the construction phase. We regularly visit building sites to cooperate with the contractor to achieve smart and high quality solutions that meet to our high standards.
